Cendrik started with a simple observation: most households aren't short on effort, they're short on a plan that fits real life. Bills arrive at different times, income can be uneven, and it's easy for a family's finances to feel like a pile of separate problems rather than one manageable picture.
Our founders, a small group with backgrounds in adult education and community work, set out to build workshops that felt less like a lecture and more like a conversation around a kitchen table. The goal was never to sell a system. It was to give households a workable structure they could return to, month after month, without pressure.
Since opening our doors in Kuala Lumpur, Cendrik has worked with households of many shapes and sizes, from young couples setting up their first shared budget to larger families juggling school fees, elder care and seasonal costs. Every workshop is built around real scenarios rather than generic advice.
We describe what we do plainly: general education, practical tools and a supportive small group. Cendrik does not offer financial advisory services, and we make no promises about outcomes. What we do offer is a calm space to think things through and a set of habits that households tell us they keep using long after the workshop ends.
